Can I change my Rogers wireless phone plan and keep same term contract?

I am currently on the BB Unlim plan and it is getting a little too expensive. I want to switch to another plan. I just wanted to know if I can switch to a lower plan and keep whatever term I have left on my 3-year contract. I know I'll have to pay to cancel the data portion of it, which is fine. I just want to know if the term will stay the same. Thank you in advance.
