My App Search doesn't work?

On my Ipod Touch, I had turned on my Genius in the App Store, and now I cant search anything unless i try to find it by category or else it will automatically shut down from the store, im trying to turn off the Genius but i cant figure out how. I tried turning it off on my computer, but its not even on, so im not sure if that way would work, can anyone help me?
