Appropriate outfit for when a friend comes over?

So I'm pretty ill today.... And my guyfriend has offered to come over and bring food and keep me company (we're both in college, off for Labor Day). This may sound incredibly vain and ditzy, but what should I wear? I mean I like the guy, yeah, but it's not like this is a date. Obviously I can't stay naked in bed... But do I really need to put on a whole outfit, makeup, hair, etc? Can I get away with just some pajamas or even just a pair of panties? Thanks for the help.
