British Law / Politics / Royal Family Questions. Refer below, please.?

I was pondering over the following questions a few days ago: 1. Who can become a knight, and how ? Also, how are different Orders of Knighthood granted ? 2. Can a Member of the Royal Family, perhaps not the monarch, enter the house of commons ? 3. Can a Knight enter the house of commons? 4. Can a Knight stand as MP(House of Commons) and eventually become Prime Minister? 5. Does a Knight get a seat in the House of Lords ? 6. Are seats in the house of Lords permanent ? 7. Who gets a seat in the House of Lords? Can a commoner ? Note: This applies to the UK only.
