is it safe to take garlic & ginko biloba at the same time?

Iv`e recently started taking ginko biloba in the hope of curing my easy bruising problem. I also eat garlic on a regular basis. Iv`e justread on the internet that this is dangerous, & can cause bleeding by inhibiting blood clotting. Is this true?
