Question #10250294

There is a random stem growing out of the middle of my succulent pot plant. What do I do?

Recently, I got a little pot plant. It is one of those typical green ones with inflated chubby looking 'leaves' coming out from the middle. Recently, I have realised that there is a stem growing out of the middle. It has continued growing and now it is so long that it touches the ground. Should I pull it out and stick it in the ground and if so, will it grow? Should I cut it off? What is it! I'm scared that it will end up killing my plant. D: Thanks.
