How do I write a Literary Comparison?

For AP Literature, I have to write a literary comparison between two of summer reading books. Well I only read two so I am comparing The Cider House Rules and The Prince of Tides. I wrote my thesis; "Although death is an inevitable part of the human experience, there can be beauty in death, expressly for those who have been fated for struggle in life." Now I'm stuck on the introduction and the format. If anyone could give me a format they think would be good for this, I would be so appreciative. Thank you. Or if anybody just wants to write the outline for me ;) Just kidding...kinda.
