How can i find out if i have damaged my eardrum (by sound)?

I used to listen to music very loud with my earphones for hours and i think i've damaged my eardrum and i was lucky because the right earphone was damaged and i only used my left one...Is there any way to test my ear to see if i have actually damaged it. By the way i think i hear better with my right than i do with my left but i could be wrong.
