How to get rid of minor dandruff?

I wash my hair everyday because i have to go to school, but I always notice my hair is dry along with my skin in the morning which may cause this problem.On the other hand if I don't do it my hair becomes very greasy and oily quickly (usually in the morning the next day) so I really have to wash it everyday. What are some good suggestions for helping this problem. I don't want to use vinegar or tea tree oil because it will leave my hair smelling odd or anything like that. So should i just use a dandruff shampoo so that it leaves some natural oils in my scalp?
