Emigrating to Australia with City And Guilds and BTec qualification?

I am looking into moving to Australia within the next year or so and need some advice on jobs ect. I currently have 6 years experience working as a Satellite Tv Installer gaining a city and guilds qualification in Digital Satellite Installation and Health and Safety Working Practice's would this qualification be recognised in Australia ? I am also thinking about doing a CCTV , Fire Alarm and Intruder alarm installation course where i will gain a Btec diploma certificate at the end of the course. Will this qualification be recognised in Australia as well?
