How do you make a guy realize what hes done and apologize?

Me and my boyfriend had a fight last night and we haven't talked since. I wish hed just come out and be really sweet and realize how hes been treating me and say sorry and blah blah, but how do I do that? I want to know how to make him ache and miss me for once. Do I just ignore him and not answer him until he realizes or what?
