Should I buy a 2000 mercedes ml320?

My uncle is selling his 2000 mercedes ml320 bwcause he bought another car. He is willing to sell it to me for 2000 dollars and it has 160k miles on it. I also know that he fixed and mantained the car well and eveything works well except tge check engine light is on due to some sensor and mechanic said its fine. Is this a good deal?
