woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea?

i woke up around 2 in the morning (2 hours ago) feeling this awful bubbly feeling in my stomach. an hour later i had to race to the bathroom and i've already gone 3 times. i still feel bad and now i'm cold and shaky. this doesn;t usually happen to me, i'm lactose intolerant but the last thing i ate before bed was dairy free. i get super stressed out when i get diarrhea. how long will this last? and is this normal to wake up like this out of no where and feel sick?
