Do I have a pink eye ?

So it feels weird when I look at the light . My mom has a pink eye right now , but I've applied on some hand sanitizer and a lot of water on my hAnds. And it doesn't itch or burn , and when I close my right eye, it feels weird. Please help ! If so , please tell me ways to treat it ! That do not include wiping my eyeball with a cloth ! I'm so scared of getting one so bad
