Concerned about right nipple ? :(?

About a month ago I went to the doctor because my nipple was itchy and a little flakey and somewhat larger than my left nipple. She gave me a steroid cream and told me it appeared to possibly be a yeast infection or just that way because it was irritated from soap or my sports bra. The cream helped the itchiness but I still feel as though my nipple and areola is larger, and sometimes redder than my other breast. I'm thinking I could be over thinking this but I'm not sure. Any ideas ? I think I'm going to get myself back to the doctor in a few weeks but I'm trying to see if this will go away on its own. It's not very sore, but it does have times when it feels slightly tender and sore. Any thoughts please !
