in IT compny if leaves are not granted then its necessary to send mail for not approval of leave?

i am working as a software engineer in private firm, and i had applied for leave and they have not granted my leaves, so i want clarification that, is there any labor law to get written notice for non approval of leaves? if suppose it is there, and i had not get any approval for my leave so which kind of action i can do against company?
