starting Accutane but going on vacation in 3 weeks?

I went to the dermatologist yesterday and she prescribed me Accutane for my severe acne. I am leaving to go on vacation to Thailand in 3 weeks and as Thailand is in it summer seasons i am becoming a bit worried about the consequences of starting Accutane just being going on vacation for a month... As i have read a lot of reviews about Accutane making your skin quite sensitive.. I told my dermatologist that i was going to be overseas in Thailand and she seemed to think as long as i was careful and wore sunscreen i would be fine.. But i will be experiencing high levels of sunlight as i am going to be volunteering with elephants and also snorkelling.. as my skin in very fair already i can only imagine that this would make my skin more vulnerable to burning??? What do you recommend?
