My youtube account asked me to have a partnership, how do I now make money?

So, it says I'm now monetized. But, I know Google Adsense has something to do with Youtube partnership... Years ago I got banned from Adsense for a reason unknown... Can I still make money on youtube with out adsense? maybe use a different thing like Chitika or just nothing at all?
