How to play the Gimme Shelter solo?

I can play it like the first 10 seconds its just the bends thats later on in the solo and suddenly I think its moving frets so its not in the Cm pentatonic? one of the songs I played by the ear. my music teacher said the solo is in the C#m pentatonic scale and he showed me that scale and I took it from there.
