What do Filipinos think of Hispanics?

I'll be go in going to the Philippines soon.... And I just want to know what you think of us Latin Americans. How will they treat me and stuff like that. Also, I'm from Mexico and my native language is Spanish so will that get me far there or will I have to learn a Filipino language? Thx
