confused help! should I get back with him? !?

So me and my guy friend witch we used to have something going on but learned to become friends were going on a trip and stopped at a hotel for the night a one bedroom room and he was going to sleep on the couch and I felt bad and told him we could be in the same bed and he said ARE YOU SURE and I said yes during the night when we were sleeping I found him to be very warm and eventually I was hugging him and he huged me back and the next day he talked to me about it and I told him that I still like him alot and we kissed but know I dont know what to think because I like him and he likes me but when we were a thing I always got into trouble with him like trouble with the LAW. Should I get back with him?!?!
