I am planning on getting Biotin 1000mcg from Walmart?

Mostly I am planning on getting it for is my nails. My nails are kind of weak and short. Yes, nail biter for EVER! I stopped about 2 months or less but I know before Christmas. All I am using right now is Stop The Bite for not to try to cheat and yes it does work! But all I need now is something to help with strength and help to have longer and healthier nails. I also am currently using Sally Hansen VitaSurge Growth Gel which tends to help.. Do you think Biotin will help with that? Let me know please and thank you
