Update Samsung Galaxy S 4G without using a PC?

I have an unlocked unrooted T Mobile Samsung Galaxy S Model T959V (using metro PCS service) . the USB/charger port doesn't work at all, and I want to update the firmware to 2.3 (or higher if I could) . does anyone know if theres a way I can update the phone without connecting to a PC ?
