Recommended colleges for teaching degrees?

Hi, I'm planning on going to Santa Monica College for my first two years then transferring to another school, mainly because it helps with the cost of tuition. Also, I don't know if this makes any difference but I'm planning on exiting high school by the CHSPE. Anyways I want to become an elementary school teacher but many schools, like UCLA (where I was hoping to go to), only have minors in education. Can anyone recommend me good schools with majors in education? I was thinking maybe Cal State East Bay or SFSU but only because I do want to live in San Francisco at one point in my life. Thoughts on these two schools? Any help will be much appreciated as I am pretty lost. Thanks! :)
