Are there people who leave the US? Or am I alone?

I want to leave the US b/c I don't feel this country gives me the opportunities nor peace of mind that I feel I need. I feel I might have a better chance at things abroad, especially since I'm of foreign background and I've been out of the States before. Are there others who leave the US besides me?
