1099 tax question?

I'm an independent contractor and I receive a 1099 every tax season. Last year I made 11,200 and owed 2300 last year which I've been single and have been filing single. I recently got married last week and since I will be filing jointly this coming tax season will I owe less? My wife is currently unemployed
