Places; Busy vs Peaceful?

OK so we recently took a day trip to London with the kids (aged 5 &9 for my birthday. I hated it!! The busyness, over crowding, queuing, waiting and general dirty environment. We live by the sea and I much prefer a walk with a dog across fields. Am I alone? Maybe because we had the kids and we couldnt relax as we are on constant alert or I m just old and boring :/ My husband says it s strange P.s I am very sociable person, my job is talking and working with people (social work).... this is probably the reason lol!!
