How to make animated movies and motion capture movies like tin tin movie, transformers, toy Story etc??

I would like to know how to became a movie maker/director for both animated and motion capture? I want to know how to learn these, any college program or dummies books or any book?, what includes in the process for animation,motion capture movies since live action film making includes directing, editing , script writing,producer etc. Thank you all.
