What to do with broken mac hard drive?

So my hard drive broke and i keep rebooting my computer but didnt work. So i rebooted it like 30 minutes later and all my files came back. Then 5 minutes later it went away and now wont come back. I sent the hard drive to 300$ data recovery and they sent it back with being able to fix it. So should i put it in my computer one more time before trying a more expensive company or keep away?
