Anyone know the Name of this Book?

All I can remeber is the book cover has a girl lying in her bed with her back towards us. And that the book is about a girl who lives with her dad in a small yellow house after his divorce and has to write in a journal for therapy. At one point in the book she ends up in a hospital where her boyfriend sneaks in and tries to feed her some pudding. They also have a group of friends.
