Unable to find a job. Should I just start lying on applications?

I've been actively searching for a job for 2 years: cashier, stock, retail, etc. I still have not been hired by any of them yet friends o people I know are getting the jobs! Should I start lying on my job applications? =/ I'm not a bad person, nor am I lazy or anything, but I lack cashier, and customer service experience since no one will give me a chance.
