Sound problem with my atrix2.. Please help!!!!?

I recently got my phone and this problem is since a week. Now when I play any song or a video, the sound from the headset is distorted. It is like playing in karaoke. The sound effects are good but the main vocals are like playing in background. It is just like karaoke mode. I tried everything but in vain. Please help me to resolve this issue
