How long does the iPad Mini take to ship?

I ordered and iPad mini from Apple today at 4AM and I was wondering how long does it take for it to ship. It says in the website that its available to to ship in two weeks. What does that mean? It ships in two business days after it ships and I understand what business days are( Means that it'll take exactly two week days to arrive(Mon-Fri) ) But I'm wondering, Will I actually have to wait two weeks for it too ship? I don't mind that but I thought it just ships from an Apple Store to my house. Thank you if you take the time to answer, it means a lot!
