I need to find information on Maxwell Sewing Machines circa 1940?

I have done countless searches online and came up with nothing. Does anyone have any info on them? I have my mom's old Maxwell Sewing Machine in a blond wooden cabinet. The machine itself is turquoise in color. Any input would be appreciated....thank you!
