Equipment needed for dj?

Im wanting to get into djing. Mostly dubstep. I plan on Doing small parties and private gigs at first for little to nothing to get my name out there. Mostly playing tracks by other dubstep artists and sampling 1 or 2 of my own. Im fairly certain I'm going to get fl studio. But I need to know what I need for the whole setup. Other than the obvious speakers, laptop. what kind of mixer would I need and what will I need to mix and cross tracks live? Like mixing tracks with a turn table except with my laptop? is there a software for that? Just need some help. And I'm not wanting to spend much money, just some stuff to get me started then I'll upgrade as I go
