iTunes 10.7 problem.......?

Alright, so a couple of days ago I had downloaded iTunes 10.7 (newest version) and I noticed that whenever I would listen to the music in my library and browse the internet at the same time, the music would be scratchy/skippy like how a CD is when the disk is scratched. It's NEVER done this until I downloaded the newest version. How do I fix this? I tried e-mailing iTunes, but they didn't seem to understand what my problem is.
