Pc making a loud noise?

My pc unit (tower) is making a loud noise when I turn it on, I have tried cleaning the fan inside but it's still making the same noise it did work for about 4 minutes then it shut down and now it won't display and screen on the monitor the monitor just says monitor going to sleep and turns off HELP!! Please
