Neighbor claiming I stole her car for a joyride & damaged it?

My new neighbors are claiming that I stole her car for a joyride and damaged it and returned it -_-. I had my neighbors insurance investigator come speak to me for a brief moment and wow it all seems so stupid and reeks of fruad. Considering the fact i have my own car always and i have no personal vendetta towards her or anything. What steps can i take to combat this type of fruad? I would love to make her pay legally for her disgraceful accusations.
