What Era Would You Compare Today's Music To?

I think that a lot of today's music is starting to sound similar to the 50s and 60s, I'm just saying this cause Cee Lo Green and Stooshe's music sounds really similar to them eras, which is good really because there are a lot of garbage in the charts at the moment. Olly Murs's Dance With Me Tonight sounds really similar to them eras as well, reminded me of Chubby Checker a bit with the way the song had a swing to it, but what's your thoughts?
