Does anyone know how to import pictures to photoshop 6 from my files to the program?

I restored my picture files from carbonite and I would like to place them back in photoshop 6 organizer. Carbonite tech was unable to achieve this task. Does anyone have a solution. I know photoshop 6 is old, I will upgrade if I need to if I have to.
