Good bedroom pets for me?

I have a 10 gallon fish tank in my room, and I have successfully housed fish for the past 2 years. But I am starting to get tired of fish, and am ready to take care of something new. What do you suggest would be a good pet for my room? Anything from mice to lizard suggestions are helpful. Thanks!
