Why does this girl suddenly hate me?

I have had a close friend who was a girl and didnt talk to me straight after a good day, I asked people why she suddenly didn't talk to me and ignored me they said it was because she was jealous i would like to know why girls use this ignoring thing straight after a good day when there jealous thanks
