Question #5700220

How do I remove write protection from songs?

I was downloading songs and added them to my phone but then accidentally erased them. Now when I try to re-download them, it tells me to copy and replace but when I click on "Copy and Replace" it tells me it is write protected and to remove it to be able to continue the copy and replace process. I searched the internet and found a solution that helped most something about right clicking, then properties, and uncheck the "read only" box, but when i went to properties the read only box was accessible. and my phone isn't write protected because i have other songs from the same source. So how do I go about this? I'm really annoyed by this...
