I have conjunctivitis?

I have had Conjunctivitis for ages now. My eye went very red and actually swelled up a little and every morning I would get that yellow sleep all around my eye. This must have happened about 3 weeks ago. Now my eye is not red and has not swollen up at all. It looks and feels completely fine. However i still get the yellow sleep around my eye/in my eyelashes in the morning but my eye is never red. It seems like the yellow sleep when i wake up is never going to go. It has been like this for almost a month now! I have this stuff the doctor prescribed for me and it did a good job but the yellow sleep has not gone still.
