Kaspersky missing activation key?

I'm getting the message and honestly don't know what to do. My subscription is supposed to last a year which is to October. I either get a pop up that my license has expired or the key is missing. Another says that Kaspersky is not activated updates are disabled/out of date. I have not done anything to change this and the date and time on my computer is correct. Also it never gives a window for me to update my code. It keeps talking about an automatic renewal but again it is supposed to last until October. the whole thing is so confusing that I don't even know how to word this question well. The websites solution makes it sound like a simple fix regarding the clock on my computer but that is not my problem.
