Lack of sleep, crazy dreams?

I've been tired and not sleeping for the past few days. Last night I kept waking up every few hours, because I had dreams that people would come into my room and tell me it was time to work. One was my mom and I could feel her shaking me and I yelled back that it wasn't time yet. The whole thing felt so real that I when I woke up I asked my friends if they came into my room. I noticed that when I haven't slept I will have weird dreams like that, one time I felt paralyzed for five minutes then was able to regain my body. What is this?
