Present Tense Storywriting?

Okay so I am writing this series called The Devil's Blade that I want to make into my own manga someday thus I am writing it as script but I want to start another story and I have a good idea to play with butI want to do it as an actual story like how alot of stories are written. I think that would be Present tense, If any details need to be added to get a good answer ill add in details. ty all for help!
