White puss from the top hole of my industrial piercing?

I just got an industrial 2 weeks ago and the top part is red, swollen, sore to the touch and has white puss. I think it's just because I caught myself sleeping on it last night but the bottom part is fine and doesn't hurt at all. Can someone please help me clear this up. I do sea salt soaks 2 to 3 times a day with a 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt. I am not sure what's going on cause I am doing everything I was told to do. Does anyone have an suggestions. It will be greatly appreciated of so. Thanks.
