is this a sign he likes me?

he is so nice to me and even though everyone and myself think he likes me, im still not sure. he has given me little gifts before. and today I wanted to pay him back. I gave him a necklace with his name on it. and it was a track and field necklace because I know he likes running/track. he said "really this is for me? I can keep it?" (with a huge smile on his face) I said yes. and he said "thanks this is really nice"and he told his friends that were standing around watching us "she always get me the best gifts"! but that was the only thing I ever gave him lol. does this mean anything?
