Airbrush tan over self tanner?

Tomorrow I am going to get an airbrush tan by a professional. I use a self tanner that gives me a bit of color daily, and it definitely won't fade off all the way by tomorrow, but it's completely even and I don't think anyone could really tell the difference. My question is, as long as I exfoliate again before I go and it's even, is it okay to go with a slight self tan already?
